What Does Being Involved In Your Child's
Education Mean?

Does it mean:
- quitting your job so you can spend lots of time at your child's school?
- learning all your child's subjects so you can tutor him/her at night?
Fortunately, NO!

"Parent Involvement" means:
- helping your child set up a study area,
- reading aloud or listening to tapes of books together,
- supporting the school's discipline efforts,
- having conversations with your child,
- attending parent/teacher conferences,
...and many more simple by amazingly productive techniques that influnce your child's performance and behaviour at school and home.

Why Is Parent Involvement Important?
Studies show that children whose parents are involved in their education:
- get better grades and test scores,
- have better attendance,
- do more homework,
- are more involved in extra-curricular activities,
- have a more positive attitude and better behaviour all around.
